Hi! Welcome!

My name is Lu Borko and I'm a classically trained Pilates teacher who specialises in Reformer Pilates. After teaching group and private classes in different studios around London, I opened a studio in North London with a single Reformer machine, offering tailored sessions for private clients only. My belief is that 1:1 sessions are the most beneficial for clients as we get to focus on improving the form with every single movement. I love seeing my clients succeed - did someone say advanced side planks? I also love helping clients who are on their recovery journeys. Whichever stage of life you might be in - my bet is you'll enjoy working on the Reformer.

Why Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates offers a highly effective, low-impact workout that can benefit people of all fitness levels. We'll go through a flow on the reformer machine which provides resistance and support, allowing you to perform a wide range of exercises that target specific muscle groups. However, the idea for each class is to work the whole body, with the emphasis on building your core strength and promoting spinal health.

 

The resistance offered by the springs on the Reformer machine allows us to expand on the core Pilates principles and build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance body alignment. My favourite benefit of Reformer Pilates is the huge improvement to head-to-toe alignment and posture that completely eliminated back pain and overall body ache for me.

One of the key advantages of MoonCore Pilates is the personalised attention you'll receive during private sessions. As a classically trained Pilates expert, I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals. Whether you're looking to tone and strengthen, improve your flexibility, or rehabilitate from an injury, I'll guide you through a customised workout that challenges you while ensuring proper form and technique.

The 1:1 class is performed using a top-of-the-line Reformer Pilates machine that allows for a versatile setup and gives us the option to go through a wide variety of exercises that keep will keep our sessions ever engaging and effective. Reformer Pilates is a very engaging way of exercise, and I find the time to fly by whenever I work with clients or go through my own flows. Plus, you get to pick the music!
